Shopkeepers run the till from their phone. Describe your shop and whacka builds a point-of-sale app: a fast cashier screen that searches by name or barcode, totals the sale, takes cash or transfer, and prints a receipt you can share — with daily sales, profit and a customer credit ledger behind it. In any language, right-to-left included.
What you can build
Describe any of these — whacka builds it.
Good to know
Can it scan barcodes?
Yes — search a product by name, or scan its barcode with the phone’s camera, and the sale totals as you add each item.
Can customers pay inside the app?
The till records cash, transfers and credit sales; it doesn’t connect to a card reader at the counter. For online orders, your app can take card payments through your own Stripe or PayPal account — the money goes straight to you, and whacka takes no cut.
Can a cashier be blocked from seeing the day’s takings?
Yes — give staff a cashier login that rings up sales without seeing total revenue or profit, while you keep the manager view. Keep roles simple, though — build it owner-first.
Does it work in Arabic and my currency?
Yes — any language, right-to-left included, and your local currency. Just say which when you describe it.
Can it track stock too?
Yes — stock can drop as you sell, with low-stock alerts. Many owners run the till and the stock as one app; see Inventory.
