The internal tool IT never has time to build

Depot Nine — warehouse checks, run on whacka

Every team runs on a spreadsheet that wishes it were an app. Describe the tool — an inventory checker, a clock-in sheet, an inspection report, an ops dashboard — and whacka builds it: a real internal tool your team opens on their phones, updating live for everyone at once, with no dev queue and no procurement.

What you can build

Describe any of these — whacka builds it.

Good to know

How is this different from a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet is one grid everyone edits and breaks. Your tool has real screens — a form for the field, a dashboard for you — opens properly on a phone, and updates live for everyone at once.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes — you create logins for your team (or let them sign up), give each a role, and reset or remove them any time. The number of logins depends on your plan.

Can it remind us before things are due?

Yes — license renewals, expiry dates, maintenance schedules, contract end dates. Your tool can send a push notification, an email or a WhatsApp message before each deadline so nothing slips through. (For push on iPhone, add the app to the home screen first.)

Can it pull live information from other systems?

Your app can fetch live data from the web and from APIs you point it at. Deep two-way integrations with internal systems aren’t the sweet spot — start with tools that stand on their own.

How fast is “fast”?

Describe it in a sentence and the first working version is in front of you in minutes. Then refine it in chat — “add a status filter”, “make supervisors approve requests”.
