A warehouse app with stock requests and purchase approvals

Try a real factory-warehouse app built from one message — as the storekeeper, a department head and the general manager — or describe your warehouse and get your own.

Paper issue slips and a purchase-request spreadsheet mean nobody knows the real stock, and requests get lost between departments. Describe your warehouse and who requests and approves, and whacka builds a phone app: department heads request materials, the storekeeper issues them once approved and the stock drops, and a purchase order goes nowhere without the manager’s approval.

Only the storekeeper changes quantities, stock never goes negative, and every item keeps a movement log nobody can edit — who, how much, when. When an item falls below its minimum, the storekeeper and the manager are alerted. Free to start; free apps stay online for 14 days after each publish, and paid plans start at $3 a week.

A real one, built with whacka

Makhzoonna — a factory warehouse with two departments

Built from the message below — written in Jordanian Arabic — in about eleven minutes; Whacka asked one question first (how do staff sign in?) and the answer was “username and password”. Open it and tap «جرّب التطبيق بدون حساب» (try it without an account): approve a materials request as the department head, issue it as the storekeeper, and approve a purchase order as the general manager.

The department head sees items and quantities without cost pricesThe storekeeper issues only approved requestsOnly the general manager approves purchase orders
The sentence it was built from
  • We signed in as every role with real accounts and also called the server directly: only the storekeeper changes quantities, and stock never goes negative
  • Only the general manager approves purchase orders, which lock once approved; issuing and the stock deduction happen together
  • Ordinary staff can’t see cost prices, and an item’s movement log can’t be edited by anyone
  • In demo mode: issuing 5 kg took an item from 61 to 56, and receiving an approved purchase took another from 38 to 138

Good to know

Is it free?

Free to start: the free plan gives 8 credits a day (up to 24 a month) — enough to build, refine and publish a first app, with no card. On the free plan a published app stays online for 14 days after each publish; paid plans start at $3 a week or $10 a month. Running the app itself — data, storage, notifications — uses no credits.

How many staff logins can I create?

You create them yourself inside the app — a username and password per person, no email needed. They count against your Whacka account: 5 on Free, 10 on Starter, 30 on Pro and 100 on Ultra; for more, email wow@whacka.app.

Are the permissions real, or just hidden buttons?

The core rules in these apps — who sees what, who approves, and locking a request once it is approved — run on the server itself, not just on the screen. We tested them with real accounts for every role and tried to reach the data directly, behind the screens; what held is listed under the app above. When you build yours, spell out who sees what and who approves what, the way the message does.

How is this different from a shop inventory app?

A shop inventory app tracks sales, purchases and stock counts for one owner. This is a warehouse with several roles — who requests, who approves, who issues — and each role sees and does only its own part.

Do the alerts reach the phone?

The app sends a push notification to the storekeeper and the manager when an item falls below its minimum, once each of them has added the app to their home screen and turned notifications on; on iPhone, notifications don’t arrive before that step.
